BEGINNING CLASS
Students will learn the basics of the “baile flamenco”, which include footwork, arm & handwork and turns. Besides technique, choreography and combinations will also be taught.

BEGINNING CASTANET CLASS
Students will learn basic castanet technique, rhythms and exercises. Castanets will be added to the festive dance sevillanas, which is traditionally danced with castanets.
*Intro to flamenco dance required or consent of instructor. Castanets will be sold in class.

CONTINUING CASTANET CLASS
This continuing class is geared towards the advanced-beginning castanet player. Students will study castanet technique, rhythms and exercises, plus focus on adding castanets to classical dance combinations and choreography.

BATA DE COLA CLASS
In this class, students will concentrate on learning how to manipulate the bata de cola effectively. Exercises and choreography will be a large component of class.
*Students are expected to provide their own bata.

ADVANCED BEGINNING CLASS
In this class, students will continue to build their knowledge of flamenco dance through more challenging technique exercises and choreography.
*Intro to flamenco dance required.
